My Story
Welcome to 5th grade! I cannot wait to get to know my students and their wonderful families at St. Cecilia's. We are going to work hard, learn a lot, and have so much fun this year!
A little bit about me...I attended Creighton University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and went on to join the Magis Catholic Teacher Corp after graduating. Through Magis I also obtained my Masters Degree in School Counseling, graduating in May of 2015. This year will be my fifth year in education. I taught two years as a sixth grade teacher in Crete, Nebraska and loved it very much. I then went on to be a school counselor for two years in the Omaha Public Schools which I also enjoyed. However, I found that I really missed Catholic schools and having my own classroom. When I ended up getting a job at St. Cecilia I knew I couldn't pass it up. I cannot wait to start my second year at such an amazing school! I know we will do great things this year.
